IWC Videos and Music

_______________________

Members of the Institute have requested access to the video documentation of the Institute events. One of the obstacles to public viewing has been the time it takes to properly edit these video documents. We have now decided to make the video documents available, with very limited editing, so that members can have access. We are assuming that members will overlook the imperfections that accompany limited editing. We are limiting access to the videos by making the videos available on YouTube in the “unlisted” category. “Unlisted” YouTube videos can only be accessed if you have the URL–you will not find them by searching. For more information regarding IWC Videos, please email Robert Moore: robert@worldculture.org

Performance Date: May 17, 2008
Performers: Kumu Kehulani Kekua and her students
Unveiling the Kumulipo
The Kumulipo
is the epic Hawaiian chant of creation/evolution, here chanted
in part, and explained by Kumu Kehulani Kekua and her students at the Institute of World Culture
May 17, 2008. Delving into the dark night of cosmological time, the Kumulipo reveals the metaphysical
sophistication of the ancient Hawaiian tradition. Be patient, it takes a few minutes to download.
